The 1st Lvov Hussars & 6th Salzburg Hussars burned and pillaged the farms and destoried a Russian guard. Russian guards have now moved into the area.

East of Keiv
The 4th Vienna Hussars destoried a Russian musket reg east of Kiev. Papers found on a dead officer held the Russian plans for a drive on Kiev.

Word has been sent to Fieldmarshal Fritz von Salzburg und Kiev of the gathering of Russian forces there.

In the West

In Vienna The Austrian Imperial School of Military Studies has opened with the first class of officers do to graduate within the year.

Ottoman forces continued to move toward Italy.

Scharnhorst starts audacious naval operation

Prussian soliders have landed south of Talinn in a bold operation planned by von Scharnhorst. The objectives of this operation remain unknown nor if this is a raid or something more long term. Observers have noticed continuing heavy activity around the port of Konigsberg.

Elsewhere Prussian and Austrian troops are close to linking up.

Russian forces continue to assault our forces at Fort Siauliu but were repulsed suffering heavy losses.

Good news from Aquatine. After heavy bombardent, one unit of Imperial Guard south of Nantes was defeated by Household Cavalry, and two units of Imperial Guard south of Nantes were defeated by Lifeguards.

We also Bombarded the French army north of Lagos, and bombarded French troops south of Coruuna. We expect casualties in these regions, and our thoughts are with the brave redcoats in those areas.

We also bombarded French units of Imperial Guard north of Florence. The French have sneakily attacked with the Ottoman mongrels, but Florence has been under severe threat before and the men know what to do.

On the water, the Royal Navy sunk three (yes 3) swedish frigates, and a laden troop transport in the North sea. Surely a severe blow to the small Swedish Navy.

2nd Austrian Fieldmarshal, Prinz Karl Philippe Crushes Russians.

The Plains Southwest of Smolensk

Karl Philippe Prinz von Schwarzenberg has been given is own command with the rank of Fieldmarshal after routing Russian Guards. After 3 hours of fire from Austrian Grand batteries, he lead the 1st Kiev Hussars in a charge that smashed the left flank of the Russian Guard reg.s. He then returned to Bryansk were he was named Fieldmarshal. Returning quickly with his newly formed army to the frontlines he routed a second Russian Guard reg.

East of Keiv

The 3rd Cracow Hussars routed a Russian jaeger and was renamed the 6th Vienna Hussars. Russian Guard units were chasing them.
Austrian forces continue to pour into the city of Kiev. Now with a second army under the command of Fieldmarshal Prinz Karl Philippe. There can be no doubt that a huge 3rd Russian Winter Campiagn is being planned. The only question is were it will take place.

War of attrition at Riga, as Prussian artillery and curiassers rout 3 Russian guards but loose the elite Ost Guard in turn. Contact is lost with the expeditionary force landed near Talinn. One of our ships has a mysterious encounter with pirates(?) but is victorious.

Prussia is now the dominant naval power in the Baltic Sea. Reports suggest much of the Swedish navy has been destroyed at the hands of the British Royal Navy.
The Prussian naval ministry has 'suggested' that in the light of recent events Sweden may have to re-consider where it's future lies.

In a coupe as large on a diplomatic scale, as large as the capture of Nantes on a military scale, peace has been declared with the Ottoman Empire. Not only does this reduce the strength of the French coalition, it saves Florence from unnecessary bloodshed.

Further news from this front, one unit of Imperial Guard was routed from the invading French forces after heavy bombardment. The victorous Household Cavalry marched into Florence to cheers and waving Union Jacks.

In Spain, French troops near Corunna were bombarded, and in a major coup, a French Army east of Lagos was bombarded by the British cannons before finally being destroyed by Irish Guard units of the Household Cavalry.

The Royal Navy also sends notice of movement of French troops around Copenhagen.

The first graduating class has been sent to Russia. Under the leadership of Fieldmarshal Konrad Valentin von Kaim it is rumored to be heading for a campaign in southern Russia.

Nothing to report. Troop movements. 1 hussar lost. 2 russian jaegers killed near Dnepropetrovsk.

The war of attrition continues with two Russian Guard regiments routed for no losses to the Prussian forces. The 1st Posen curiassers are given leave in Minsk where they assist in keeping order amid anti-war demonstrations. Prussia is alleged to have put out 'peace' feelers toward Russia but in the abscence of any meaningful response from the Czar a push on Riga is underway. Reports of more naval operations in the area would not be confirmed.
