the evil britons have, upon realising that Right is on OUR side, bribed the turks and swede into a MPP.
one cannot expect any better from peoples who have as a common binder an inability to cook!
french cuisine shall reign supreme in Batlle for IRON CHEF!!!

the one ones with real cahones are the spaniards.
a nation who's cookery i highly respect.
it is sad that the shall become Paeya themselves!

Amsterdam is granted a few weeks in which to think on their sins.
judgment day is nigh!

Bribed? Brided? They were chomping at the bit!

Sent a French frigate, with all hands, down to the bottom of the sea off the coast of Rome. The sailors died fighting the Royal Navy so there is no shame in their defeat. They went down saluting.

Also stripped Amsterdam of anything of value and let the smoking shell of a city for the looters to do their worst. ;)

No other casualties to report currently.

Oh, and looked into other ways to eat limes :)

A wave of nationalism sweeps Europe
Debate as to the role of foreign influences in this. Prussian minister for state foresees a population boom as the people celebrate this momentous event.
In other news tension is running high after news of the sack and abandonment of Amsterdam, did the British lose control of their troops or just their minds. There are reports of widespread devastation caused by the garrison, already people are referring to this as being 'Amsterdamned'. Since the withdrawl of the garrison there has been widespread looting an unoffical source confirmed. Prussian officals have tried to calm matters by quelling rumors that the garrison is pillaging it's way across the Prussian border. 'We have no knowledge of any such force they claimed.' Whether this has prompted the movement of Russian forces to cross into Austria is not known at present. A high ranking Austrian official condemed the incursion and told journalists that Austria was a peaceful nation and while they appreciated Russia wished to come to the aid of their British allies 'Haven't they heard of boats!'

Our thoughts are with all of the people of Amsterdam and Central Europe as they await events unfolding over which they seem to have little power.

the invaders of the south are being paraded through the town squares, heads on pikes!

soon our attention shall return to the britons.

reports of cowardly nad ungentlemanly behavior from the garrioson of Amsterdamned worry us.
we have always dealt fairly with prisoners and shall continue to do so.
all they need do is ask.

the britons have sunk a brave, yet disobedient frigate.
they shall be remembered.

The Royal Navy continues to grow. It appears we captured the French Frigate in the channel. Or perhaps they defected?

More fortification and preperations for defence are in progress.

Long live the King.

Wilhelm II attends opening of Berlin Cathedral
Kaiser Wilhelm II today attended the lavish opening of Berlin Cathedral. He told the adoring crowd that this cathedral symbolised Prussia's new place in Europe's hierarchy. The opening was part of a grand tour of many of Prussia's cities to inspect the new Fusiller regiments that have been formed as part of the Kaiser's reform programme.

It can be no co-incidence that warnings of foreign troops set to cross Prussia's borders seem to have proved unfounded. The Kaiser went on to re-state that should any nation be so arrogant as to take Prussia as a weak nation they would soon learn the error of their ways. The Kaisers speech was made after recent figures from the armed forces revealed that their forces were now equal or superior to many of it's neighbours.

Some diplomats have been reported as uneasy with this revelation and hope it will not awaken Prussian ambitions toward empire.

No problem, real life happens unfortunately sometimes! Still, I understand your reluctance to hasten the French demise ;)

the summer of 1800 was hot.

first to beg entry into the fold of Empire were the starved and weakened citizens of Amsterdam.
Our Heroic troops WALKED into the that noble city without a shot being fired, and THE DASTARDLY navy of the Britons - stood on its decks and watched.
the Commander of the Legion decided, quite correctly, NOT to punish Amsterdam for thier former masters' sins, but show mercy.
he has also, quite wisely, garrisoned the town, just in case English vagabonds decide to wreck havoc on the populace.

meanwhile in spain, the city of Pampaluna has fallen.
The Comander of the south has captured it with negligible losses.

TO OUR ALLIES, Known and Unknown:
we would like to assure you that we bear no ill thought towards any who do not attack us.
We WILL however, respond to any act of war.
that includes harboring enemy troops within your borders.

Message from George III, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, etc. and Elector of Hannover.

To the usurper Napoleon. Your crusade against the Spanish is winning no friends, neither is your enforcement of the French language on the innocent citizens of Amsterdam. Even now, stories arise of Dutch merchants being restricted on trade. These acts will be remembered, and when judgements comes, you will have to explain your actions before a council of the leaders of those countries who you rape and pillage.

Your acts just make the world even more steadfast to rid itself of this plague, and restore the natural order of nationstates.

Salutations etc,

Georgie III.

Tensions rise over Prussian Border
A note was handed today to the Russian Ambassador over a border incursion near Posen. The mayor of Posen called for calm and put the city's garrison on full alert. Russian sources said that they were unaware of these troops and would immediately recall any troops if they did in fact cross the border.
Tensions have also been increased by Napoleon's stance concerning the right of sovereign nations to honor rights of passage treaties granted to other nations. A Sign of this tension has been an increase in French activity on the Prussian-(Dutch/French) border. A spokesman for the foreign minister was quoted as saying 'Napoleon is not at war with all of Europe, but seems to be set on such a course by such 'outbursts'.

Message from George III, by the Grace of God, King of Great Britain, France and Ireland, Defender of the Faith, etc. and Elector of Hannover.

King George would like to stress that there have been no attacks on France or French interests from the troops that were exacuated to Prussia, and hope that the French Emperor will therefore respect Prussian neutrality while the British troops are peacefully evacuated.

From his Imperial HIghness
To my friends

i seek only reparations from aggressors towards me.
we are a peaceful nation forced to defend itself from foreign incursions.
the briton fleet ravages the seas and the briton troops ravage the land.
we shall aid all who seek help, stomp on those who deserve it.

regarding border patrols, a few well spaced onlookers are fine.
more may eventually be considered as taking an aggressive stance.

to the noblest of prussians, we do not forget our friends.
worry not. your rewards shall arrive directly.
nothing new on the battlefront:
the spaniards keep losing troops, though no new cities have yet joined the empire.

The Royal Navy continue to maintain the freedom of the sea's for free Europe.

A French frigate was captured of the coast of Nantes, after attempting to mount a break of the blockade. The crew are being treated fairly and will be sent home to their families once France surrenders.

Austrian War Report

France talks as if she own Austria already. I assume it is Austrian Hussar border patrols that worries you. It is these same border patrols that keep the Austrian Nation clear of foreign armies. Fear not France, Austrian eyes look elsewhere.
