1) Trade route change wasn't actually made in files.

2) Merchant Navy still has a production flavor but provides science. (It should provide production still in my view, but if it provides science, it should have a science flavor). (Update: It now still has a production flavor but has science)

3) The small city penalty on common naval ranged units only exists because it's added earlier in the same sql file by the mod. Just remove that reference instead of removing it via code after the fact. Simpler ;) Ranged defence on siege weapons could also be done where ranged ships are set but works either way.

4) I think, but I'm not sure, that siege weapons get a double -50% penalty versus land units with a domain penalty in the promotions folder (attached to the city assault promo they get for free) and a penalty in the sql. This might explain why they're so easily slaughtered in combat. I'm testing this one. I'm not sure because the city assault promo is converted over to another promotion (but I went ahead and removed that part of it, just in case).

5) Coastal Raider 2-3 are still listed as removed in the promotion replace file.

Something to consider for future use, or as in my mod-mod: What about combining the ASW bonus with the sonar promotion? This would at least give it some much needed umph (and then give it free to the designated ASW units, destroyers and to subs themselves).

More to follow. Still parsing through the files. (feel free to add other bugs during playtesting too).

It looks like the yield changes on libraries as a whole in the sql. nixes the Paper Maker's unique gold effect (also several unique buildings would need to be set as free upkeep; Chinampa, Mud Mosque, Paper Maker, and Burial Tomb)

Satrap Court isn't at +50% like other banks, or 20% like markets (intended?)

Nationalism and Honor both have +1 :c5happy: on monuments and -25% unit upkeep cost.

The honor policy that gives you bonuses when you conquer city states seems to be broken. I get nothing. I can confirm this for cultural and militaristic CSs. Not sure about others.

Danes still have double embarked defence promo. Shouldn't that be amphibious?

Update: Fixed.

I found and fixed several of these problems for Gem 1.13.2.

The citystate policy works in my test games. Could you post your lua.log file of what happens when you capture a citystate?

Amphibious promotion is combined with the embarked defence bonus but is deleted as an available promotion for land units and helicopters. It should be active now that it has some added usefulness (river combat is the most obvious but being able to defend semi-well at sea would also help the AI).

This would also apply to the Berserker getting amphibious (and its bonus move) replaced with charge. Both should be active.

Air bombardment 3 promotion isn't linked to air repair (missing the AIR_), and/or march III isn't properly linked to air units. (fix there).

Air Targeting 1 is still active as well (which is fine, but we could mod it down to 25% and put in some counters on late game ships).

Update: All of these Fixed.

Itaipu Dam doesn't have any GP points (could be +2 Engineer). (oversight on my part as I assumed it would have a "free engineer" to provide those back in the days when I was looking into the wonders modifications).

Updated: Fixed.

Patronage: cultural diplomacy and philanthropy are reversed in tooltips correctly but not in policy files. (fix here)

I retract my report on broken honor tree. It seems to work now.

On a side note, there are several upgrade issues.

Slaver cannot be upgraded, or at least the tree shows that it cant be.
In my Iroquois game, the promotion tree shows that Brute can be upgraded to Mohawk warrior. But I can only upgrade it to spearman even with Ironworking.

I think my description of Itaipu was ambiguous. It gives a free "unit_engineer", but most people call that a great engineer, while the "specialist_engineer" is called an engineer. I was using the internal name while most people thought of the displayed name. :crazyeye:

I'm working on these things - should be in Gem 1.13.2. :)

Stone Works as restored to its happiness function should also have its happiness flavor in the AI buildings file (it can keep a production flavor as it still improves stone/marble).

There's a few policy related flavors as well that are probably outdated as well.

For instance, secularism has a high GP flavor but the free Scientist is on the opener now. It should have a GP flavor, but it doesn't provide a free one so much as improve existing specialists. I think the free GPs are probably a higher priority (and I don't think the opener has a GP flavor).

I'm unsure of the text readings in the sql files and how they'll interact with the new civilopedia effects. But there's a number of errors in there if they do ever need to be updated. So far as I could tell, these types of errors previously only appeared if you moused over them in the building queue, but not if you moused over in choosing production, or when completed. They're very low priority as a result even from before.
1) Hero Epic says it provides 15%, it actually provides 20%.
2) There's no mention of the 1 :c5science: provided by villages.
3) Stable and mint could clarify "certain resources" as "livestock" or "metals" to be modestly specific and still concise.
4) Trade route income tip still references capital population.
5) Using GPs for Golden Ages still says it reduces the amount of turns provided down to min of 3. That doesn't happen in GEM.
6) Mosque/Cathedral faith per/pop bonuses were reduced to half of previous.

Does Police State add happiness to courthouses? It looks to be removed in the mod where happiness is applied to espionage buildings and isn't added to the populism/nationalism effect instead (ditto the 100% build rate on them).

List of building flavor questions:
1) Furnace doesn't have a GP flavor. It has an engineer slot. For comparison. Workshop (windmill) does have a GP flavor, which is understandable in that it helps build the late-game buildings faster but it has no slot. Military Academy also has no GP flavor by the same logic.
2) Seaport currently gives science at sea, but has no minor science flavor on it.
3) Stone Works still has no happiness flavor.

Change to 3 food per city listed in the change log wasn't active in the version of 1.134 I downloaded this morning (easily fixed in the city data.xml file).

Stone Works is updated twice to Masonry in the research unlocks. Doesn't hurt anything that I can tell, but it doesn't need to be. :)

Could you please start posting version numbers? This list is becoming quite long and it's quite hard to keep track of when the bug reports belong to new builds.

Other than that good job!

Sorry. I had updated the older posts to reflect whether they were fixed or not, but it would help to know where it is now. :shifty:

The last 3 5 posts were/are issues in both 1.133/4, in case anyone is wondering. Fortunately these are all minor things. :)

Was it intended that the palace lost all its yields in 1.13.4?

Could a remnant of it giving a great hall in earlier versions, which gave small yield amounts. Great Hall was removed in 1.13.4 however and I miss a small culture bonus on the Capital to give border growth and slightly speed up gaining of policies.

The versions coming thick and fast!

Anyway, 1.13.4:
- Things like Happiness changes, e.g. puppeting, policy bonuses, and the money saved with Tradition's Oligarchy are not reflected until the next turn. An example: taking a city, puppeting it and going over -10 unhappiness will not have an effect until the next turn; I've had garrison money adjusted when it went to 'a unit needs orders' - or whatever the exact wording is - if that's a help

- Production Icon (ready for a new project) still showing up for liberated city states and puppeted cities

- Meritocracy has 'Amphitheater' (note US sp. of 'theater') rather than 'Theatre'
