If you have a lot of books, check out bookTome, which catalogs them.

Does anybody know a good free animation program? And not 3D animations. I'm hoping something similiar to Animation Shop 3 (it comes with Paint Shop Pro). I'm trying to shift to free/open-source software.

Thanks :)

I once had a screensaver where the desktop would "melt" to the bottom of the screen. now I can't find it, I googled but got the ones that don't do the same thing, they just make waves or something. any idea?

edit: tried screensmelter. That's not it.

Firefox has been incredibly slow on any system I've run it on. Avant has always been faster.

But whatever. I really don't care what browser other people use. Avant is pretty good, I've been using it for quite a while. And if Firefox or Opera get your goat, well, then, good for you.

Although I have to admit I'm not too impressed with Avant 11.0.

if ur still having trouble w/ firefox then get the fasterfox addon

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/9037

allows you to optimize the performance settings and makes it loads faster

Um, the post you quoted is... 3 years old.

AudioShell, lets you edit ID3 tags from the file properties.

I believe it was one called "let the screen decay". Set-up the entire lab at university with that screensaver (.bat file to replace the default one, which changed it on every PC I logged-on to).
