Who do they think they are fooling? Surely they must know by now that we've known about her for months.
99.999% of players aren't obsessive civ fanatics

I haven't seen anyone play anything above Emperor and 95% of the videos are from ancient and classical eras so far. Only one french video showed off late game, but was just bouncing around showing stuff and not playing any turns.I presume the answer to this is "no", but because hope springs eternal:
Did any of the livestreams suggest an AI that is more dangerous on the attack, used airplanes offensively, etc.?
PS I'm not raising this to start another "bash the state of the AI" discussion. This is just a key purchase factor for me. I'm just wondering if there's anything to suggest that the AI may offer more of a post-Classical era threat in GS than it does currently?
Eh, I was hoping that would be better than that

Don't hold me to this, but I believe we did see the AI building and using them in at least one stream. They said the AI uses airplanes more during one of the earlier streams. I don't believe we actually saw it, though.

We did during the Inca/Hungary stream.
Fish are a resource, and you only get the culture/faith on features. The other fish gets it because that tile has a Reef as well as Fish. Reef/Fish and Reef/Turtle tiles are going to be absolutely bonkers for Maori.
Let's be clear, we all know nothing is enough to please CanuckThat's what I was referencing, but I don't know if that use was enough to please Canuk.
Let's be clear, we all know nothing is enough to please CanuckIt's why we love him.
Is that why he always travels?
Potato is having an unbelievable game. Maori definitely shot up to #1 on my list.Did they show Chocolate Hills yields somewhere? I am watching Potato's stream and falling in love with Maori.

I thought he just didn't dribble.

Anyone else see this article while it was up this morning?
This link was up earlier today, and it must have been taken down. It still shows up on Google Search but it's dead. Lots of good quotes from Ed Beach about the climate system and how one can mitigate or even actively exacerbate climate change (when playing domination, for example), and the author writes about playing as Eleanor as England.
Wish I had taken some screenshots! Thought there was something funky when it mentioned Eleanor.
What kind of weird babelfish did that get run through?Someone seems to have mirrored it here: https://thenewsarticles.com/global-warming-is-your-worst-enemy-in-civilization-vi-gathering-storm/
Don't know if it will be taken down too, so read it now.
Edit: it mentions Eleanor leading England exactly once, but doesn't hint at her LUA nor that she can lead France as well.
