I saw this posted somewhere but can no longer find the explanation of syntax/where it goes in the file/etc.

Any tip on how to specify a mod to load in the INI file, greatly appreciated.

Also on a related note if there is an FAQ on editing your ini file, please post it. Searches of this website return nothing.

Search load a mod in the .ini and switch 0 to the mods name:
For example:
Mod: HISTORY IN THE MAKING.
Or something like that
It should have an example.

Personally I think the best way to insta load a mod is through creating a shortcut. Here is how you do that:

Go into your BtS folder, and find the .exe file -right click on it
-Choose Create Shortcut
Move the sortcut icon to the desktop
Right click on your new shortcut and select properties.
In Target you will see:
"...\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe"
-Add mod=\ModName to the end of the target, so it looks like:
"...\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod=\ModName
-Select OK, or apply changes or whatever it's called
*Change the name of your shortcut apropriatly (optional)

That'll load up the mod you specify when you double click that shortcut.
