loading .py file maps?

Hi.
I'm wondering if I might get some help here...

Bought the game, CivIV Complete, installed it, everything fine... except it doesn't load any of the .py files maps, only the ones made from WorldEditor.
Tried re-installing... no luck.

What am I missing??

The py files are map scripts. They should be used by civ4 to generate a map when you start a new game and select the corresponding map type.

I thought so.
The problem is - once in the game, and goingo into single player > "scenario", the map options are not there. I mean, the ones specified as WorldEditor files are visible, the map scripts with the (.py) ending are not!


Any advice?
