Logging in to Multiplayer fails..

i dont know if the server is down or anything at this moment. but every time i try to login with my account, the moment i hit the login button with the correct password the game just freezes.. i was playing only a few hours before and now i cannot login. do i have to reinstall the game? or is it just an issue with gamespy and i have to wait.

Same here. I assume it's an issue with gamespy, but with no error messages, there's no way to figure out who's accountable.

Everyone involved with Civ 4 multiplayer seems useless. How long has the in-game patcher locked up your game for now?

Not being able to log in usually means you're internet connection is bad assuming you get no message saying otherwise.

its a gamespy problem maybe only region related at the moment

yes it has begun to work again. i guess it was just an issue with the gamespy servers

ok im having trouble i try to create new account i filled everything out correctly and i press create account but the game kinda just pauses and nothing happens and when i press OK it just pauses and does nothing so then i tried to login with that but nothing
