Logitech mouse fails when I play

Hello! I was trying to install civilazation 3 on my dell vostro 420. I am using a MX 600 cordless laser mouse and keyboard. When ever I try to install civilation 3, I suddenly loose the ability to move my mouse! Help please!

I'd try installing with a corded mouse, or any other mouse you may have laying around. If you're still having problems with it, then it might be the civ3 disc. If you can install it, I would try uninstalling and reinstalling your mouse/keyboard software after civ3's installed and see if that helps.
