Long Wait-time : Waiting for other Civs....

I'm just coming to confirm if it should take somewhat a long time early-game for other civs to go, I have three other civs, and me. Three AI, one human.
It's taking around 1/2 minute to get back to where the interface allows me to play, and the running man icon has disappeared.

Is this normal, or is it my computer acting up to all the new terrains and units before I've fully explored the map? (animals too)

What version are you running? V22.1 or SVN?

Either way, no it shouldn't - might be worth posting a save game so I can take a look (if you're on the SVN version - I can check even if it's v22.1, but I'll be checkign how the SVN version habndles it so the result might be 'doesnt happen any more'

As I'm no technical whiz, and even had trouble installing, I use v22.1.

I can get you a save, but it might not be repeatable on your computer.
I'll edit in 1/2 hr or so with the completed save. :)

Problem apparently fixed itself.

This is around the 4th time loading the mod, and it takes approx 3 seconds to wait for 2 civs besides mine on a "tiny" map.

Also, is there a way to remove the turn limit?

Can you clarify what you mean by 'turn limit'?

Load the newest SVN it has a BUG MENU option to reduce turn times significantly!

Start custom game/custom scenario . Disable time victory there.

I have the BUG OPTIONS available to me in v22_1, and I've tried time and domination disable in custom game, yet it still gives me population limits (up until 75% of turns are completed, for instance) and time limits.

I get lucky and find tribes in tribal villages (makes sense :U), make cities, and get a "OVER DOMINATION LIMIT" message that does nothing to the game but clutter the log, this is a total of 2-3 population, puts me so far ahead in the score-box, and essentially makes me want to slap myself for repeating this error.

Turn limit, as in...

1/250 on a "duel" map, snail speed.
I want that disabled, because I want infinite time.

That doesn't remove the turn limits, it just disables the Time Victory. Although, if you play Eternity, there is for all practical purposes no turn limit, who is ever going to make it to 14500 turns.

Right, but the quote above claims he has only 250 total turns at snail!!!

I have no idea myself, but if I remember right the speed box was cut off, it said snail on duel, I believed it. I did get it to stop giving me fractions and percents of how many turns were left, also disabling the pop limit.
Case closed.

You can turn off the domination messages in the BUG Options (ctrl-Atl-O) tab. Can't remember which one at the moment.
