Looking for a Mod - Dynamic unique civs?

I'm not a big fan of the pre determined traits & bonus' civs receive at the beginning of the game. It makes every game pretty much the same following the same 'cookie cutter' approach to victory. At least IMO - i know plenty disagree.

I was hoping someone would have made a mod by now that makes things more dynamic, where every civ is unique and develops throughout the map, not pre-determined at the beginning. What i mean is something similar to what Empire Earth has, for example, were you get to choose 6 of 12 available 'technologies' per epoche, excluding the rest, making your civ unique.

Or instead of beginning traits (remove them), the players/Ai get to choose certain bonus' along the tech tree at key points. For example, say you research construction, you can choose between say a +5% building contruction bonus or a +5% unit construction bonus. Or when researching Economics, get a +1 gold on plots producing 2 or more gold or decide to have -50% civic upkeep. One last example - Machinery -> Receive Free combat promotion for certain units or decide to give +50% to wonder production. I don't mean to make this sound balanced. This is just an example of the type of system i'd like to see. Many small decisions that give you bonus' throughout the game that define & make your civ truly unique - everytime you play.

One last thing i'd like to see is the unique unit being dependent (and assigned) whenever the player initiates a golden age. Whatever his most advanced tech is should have his most advanced unit replaced by whatever the current unique unit counterpart is.

I'm probably dreaming a bit to much by now, but i don't suppose anything remotely to what i'm looking for is available as a mod?

There is a mod that les you customize your civs as you go along; not quite what you want, but close: Age of Civilisations.

As for dynamic uus, DomPedro made an SDK modcomp.

Revolutions has dynamic civs, eg: those that get to unstable might collapse into a civil war or have rebellions. In addition, RFC RAND has RFC style civs on a random map.

Thanks for pointing out revolutions .. after some searching i found a mod combo i might like. Playing DCMRevolutions atm and i'm very excited about it :D.

Was hoping you could help me figure out what this means though:

The above mentioned mod has a few mod components added from others so i can't quite find the location to where it is explained what it means. I got the Swords = war. I got the score. But whats the green + after the score mean? What is the +2.4 strenght for japan mean? What about the smiley face & the citizen icon?

TOoltip ain't to much of a help :/

Actualy, I really dont know. The faces mean their opinion of you, such as annoyed/cautious/ect. Once you figure out what alot of that stuff means, it is really helpful.

War status - Score - Change in score next turn - Leader - Civilizations - Deomgraphics (military strength in relation to you) - Opinion - not sure on the last one.

As a side note the aforementioned mod is not not compatible with BTS 3.17. I messaged Dom Pedro concerning if he was planning to update but have not gotten a response. Which is a shame as I really want to incorporate it into my mod.
