looking for vanilla game

yes we should have AIs. How many should we have?
How ever AIs add to the fun but at the same time take away some of it too, for an example player 4 of 4 only is able to interact with that AI because he borders him and he is not great friends with the AI he must watch his back more.
I suggest 2 AIs that we all work together at killing(and at some point in this process Alliances switch because one player is now getting to powerful)
My preference for what it is worth is Having human alliances which improves battle tactics and strategies with the possibility of having a secret unknown Alliance. (We are most likely 4 separate players thinking on their own) rather that 2 of us are known team members.

opinions please.

Okay, here is a proposal base on the feedback we have so far:

Map: Pangeae
Size: Small
Climate: Temperate
Era: Ancient
Speed: Normal
Barbs: Normal
Tech Trading: No
Victory Conditions: All enabled
Humans: Four
AI: Two (random)
No permanent alliances. Each player is allowed to make alliances as they wish.

How does this sound?

Also, pick your 3 preferred civs in order of preference.

Finally, what time zone are you in so that we can play in a logical order.

is this game full?

you make an offer of a tech or anything,(you have know idea what that civ pocesses) at his turn hell make a counter, when the turn arrives back to you, you accept his offer or not and from there the deal is over unless he recounters then you'll get the offer once again.

Out of curiosity, how does tech trading work in PBEM if all players are human?

Excellent setup!
UK Darren Jones
EST Eclipse4449 GERMANY,CHINESE,JAPANESE
WST Mitchum
??? Haggisman
Appears to be the order so far, Haggisman has not checked in for a while I hope he returns.

Ruff_hi, it looks like we've got a full game. I'll play more than one at a time if you want to get another one started.

Darren and I have been working with Haggisman offline to get PBEM working. He's not up to the latest patch yet. He should have it ressolved soon.

Eclipse, don't both Germany and China have more than one leader? You may want to select the specific leader. Plus, I'm not sure what you're suggesting regarding tech trading. Do you think we should allow it? I can go either way.

Darren, pick your three favorite leaders.

Haggisman, pick your three favorite leaders and let us know what time zone you're in.

Japnese for me please!

So here is what we have:

Map: Pangeae
Level: Noble?
Size: Small
Climate: Temperate
Era: Ancient
Speed: Normal
Barbs: Normal
Tech Trading: No
Victory Conditions: All enabled
Humans: Four
AI: Two (random)
No permanent alliances. Each player is allowed to make alliances as they wish.

Darren Jones: UK; Montezuma, Huayna Capac, (Washington or Franklin)
Eclipse4449: EST; (Frederick or Bismarck), Mao or Qin, Tokugawa
Mitchum: WST; Huayna Capac, Catherine, Kublai Khan
Haggisman: Time zone? Leaders?

Depending on who Haggisman picks for his leader, it looks like we'll all get our first choice.

Eclipse, do you want Frederick or Bismarck?

Should we play on Noble, which not only affects the AI, but also affects happiness and health caps, barbs, etc.? Or should we play a higher level?

Hey guys. Sorry it was a busy couple of days for me and i wasn't able to do too much on here.

As for setting, i'm pretty cool with whatever you guys want to do. The one I would say tho is no perm alliances. I like the idea of switching and changing teams and have the freedom to do as we please.

Leaders, just set me to random, i'm not too concerned with what civ i am.

I am in Toronto, Canada (new york timezone) I work from 7:30am till 4pm and can't play then. Also I am an independant film maker and am currently working on a documentary (that is why I was so busy these last few days) however I should be pretty free for the next week or so. But generally I will play my turn between 4pmish and 11pm during the week. I can also play a turn in the morning before work if there is a turn waiting for me.

Set me up as Japan/Tokugawa
looks like Haggisman is just before me in turn order.

So here is what we have:

Level: Nobel?
Size: Small
Climate: Temperate
Era: Ancient
Speed: Normal
Barbs: Normal
Tech Trading: No
Victory Conditions: All enabled
