I have done it. STDomWar in Middle Earth.

Its all there folks, Federation(Men of the West), the gamma quadrant(Mordor), Cardassians(Isengard), Romulans & Klingons(Elves and Dwarves), Fire Caves of Bajor(Mines of Moria), JemHadar Battleship(Ring Wraithes), Ketracel White Facility(Mount Doom).

I wonder if Wobbeong is trying my scenario....his TOT War of the Ring seems to be pretty advanced in development.

No, he doesn't have MGE. He'd have to convert it to ToT first. Apparently he's quite lazy and doesn't play Civ2 much any more.

I heard that some guy called Fairline converted it to TOT for his own enjoyment. Maybe Wobby could contact this guy.

If I were to play the scenario, I'd convert it myself. Every ToT conversion I've downloaded has required fixes of some sort. It'd be simpler for me to work through the entire process systematically.
