Losing all the civs

. Also @DizzKneeLand33 has a point re the mods too. Unless Firaxis could find a way to help effected mods get an earlier start on addressing changes, it just isn't worth it.

Giving prolific modders early access to releases? It's not like firaxis is good at controlling leaks anyway so there don't appear to be many downsides.

I don't mean that so much. I mean Firaxis finding an appropriate go between that they trust, between themselves and the modding community, who can give a heads up to likely effected modders in, say, the week before the new content drops so that they hit the ground running from release day in terms of figuring out what changes they need to make. I don't know much about modding myself, so take my comments with a grain of salt in terms of whether it would improve modders ability to get relevant mods working again quicker... but again, if nothing like that can be done, then it is another significant strike against having a season pass vs a yearly big expansion.

Yeah, I really can't comment on what modders would need. Though I suppose a regular release schedule would at least mean they'd know when their content was about to break...
