I have free time available on Wednesday afternoon and Friday all day (not night) so that would give me plenty of time to get to work... I can't make any promises but I would like to have all of them done by Sunday.

Normally my problem has been that I have had a lot of things on during the day and by the time I get to doing LE work, it's late at night, and then I feel guilty for not doing anything, and so manage to squeeze a few things in. But I'm going to knuckle down soon though and get to it!

Sure it's a thought. I originally went with Oblivion as I thought that having a good quote of him winning late on would cement his place in the story a bit more, but am happy to adapt.

You're welcome. It is easier to stick to it now the end is in sight. Even if you average only one quote per day, that is only two weeks.

I think it would be best to release the beta and publicize widely. I would expect the only change between beta and gold would be due to feedback.

It would be nice to do a picture ala the cover of the SMAC manual (or the SMAX manual on the disk). The picture could be posted as part of an announcement on various sites and a visual would certainly have greater impact than just words.

I have the Planetary Pack so I know what you are talking about... Could work, especially with faces only as that sidesteps rating restrictions. I'm thinking that having a bit of a presence on CGN and possibly other forums as well as this one is a good idea too.
