You have a good point there. Saig's the sort of character that's had a really hard life and so has decided that life without emotions is a good idea and so that's what he's trying to create. I think that he's trying to be better than he really is--he probably still gets annoyed and hates the world but masquerades as this emotionless character. Does that help? What do you suggest?
Haha Oblivion has always been a faction that raced ahead in dominance in every game that he's in so that's why he has so many negatives. Temples are the new name for Recreation Commons and was originally meant to offset a police penalty but that's since been removed. Oblivion's major asset is that he can race ahead of the other factions growth-wise due to his impunity to Demonism (+2 Research, +1 Growth, -3 Police) so he's able to get that extra Growth without any downside. Combined with other early growth boosting things like the Growth Civic and Children's Guild he can get +6 Growth quickly.
