I drive a bicycle too.

I'm putting off buying a car for as long as I can, possibly forever. I hope to live in either a city or a rural village, both of which habitats render a car unnecessary.

Wow. Seconded. Internet+Public transport = 70% of all car driving is unecessary.

I live in a village near a big city, I'm already there, it's great. Good public transport and my legs, used to cycle but walk alot more now. I've been known to walk 9 miles home from a nightclub/pub just for the pleasure of the slow sobering process and the post burn the next morning. I do it in 2 hours it's not a leisurely stroll btw.

Yes the vehicle of choice, no matter what you do road rage against you is out of the question. Now that is a mans vehicle. Sling a few troopers on top carrying AK-47's and you have your self the perfect rush hour vehicle, it's going to get to it's destination, your choice whether you do.

Except, I have no Ak-47s, I dislike the high caliber, so I'm more of friend of the AK-74.

Also, you'll get a .50 caliber heavy machine gun, easily capable of tearing civilian cars to shreds!
