Louis XIV is a drama queen?

i'm playing 18 civ world map as the chinese with the hindu holy city...
i've been on good term with Beth and extensively gave her my health resources and iron in order to make her like me in case she choose another religion, hence i can send one of my missionary and convert her...

i sent iron becoz i had two iron and she was on an island which would make it less likely for her to incite a war compared to the continental nations...
i sent her health resources coz i had surplus health in all my cities which were not used....
i didn't have economy yet so i could net have sell it...

but that was really unnecessary coz hinduism spread to london automatically...

coz i can see london i could also see paris and made my first contact with france...

apparently france and england were not in good term...

my relationship with louis was:
+1 for peace
-4 for trading with his worst enemy: england...
when we first met and he's annoyed with me

and his relationship with beth was:
+1 for peace
but they were somehow annoyed with each other...

i have to say that is bull!!!

has this ever occured to anyone?

The 'worst enemy' designation, as far as I can tell, has nothing to do with the diplo modifiers. Every AI is set up with a worst enemy, but events can cause it to change (although I have no idea what those can be, outside of the elimination of the enemy AI).

u noe some of the -'s are illogical...

i had catherine tried to convert me into her religion but i refused...
she got pissed

but the later i converted her to my religion but she still has the -2 you refused to convert to our religion
