how do you get your bonuses to double last game they doubled like i had +8 on the louve this time it's only +4?? i have the correct stuff in there 2 art and 2 artifacts all from diff era and civs

Were you France before? Or did you have hotels or airports because they can all affect theme bonus.

One of two things: Either you're playing France, or you completed the Aesthetics tree. Both work to double your theming bonus (if you're France AND you completed the Aesthetics tree the Louvre bonus is 16).

You need to complete AESTHETICS to get the double theming bonus in the wonders and museums, not Piety.

edit - yes a religious mod was not compatible with bnw and causing trouble.

If you doesn't reach a certain Era aesthetics is being disabled

If you're playing with random mods, it's hard to give you certain answers then. In unmodded BNW, as the previous posters have said, you get the double theming bonus by completing the Aesthetics tree or by being France (which gets the double bonus in its capital only.)

If you're using mods, then you'd need to check with the mods' documentation or authors to be certain on how they deal with the theming bonus; asking randomly on this forum won't get you a 100% sure answer.
