Hello friends, i got an am2 dual core 4000 2.2, 2 giga ddr2 800, geforce 8600 gt. I know its not a good configuration to play civ 5 but i expect, at least, to run with all low.
First when i tried to play, it ran normally. As i said, all settings to low, but it worked. Now, i dont know why, but after the patch or whatever, i simply cant play anymore. The menus and video are ok, but after i choose the kind of map and civ - the game settings - and the game starts its a complete trash. I get stuck and the game moves like pictures, completely slow. Im using the newest drives.
One strange thing that i saw in the task manager is that im using only 50% of the processor. Why ? the "set affinity" is marked for both processors. I dont understand.
Can it be a directx problem ? Or a sort of a bottleneck ? What do you think ?
