Low resolution textures

Is there a pack of low resolution unit textures anywhere? I've tried searching around and I coulden't find any. I always play Civilization 5 with low settings as I never notice a difference between high and low settings and the units are always fully detailed. I can see facial features on my units and I feel that things like this just slow down the game.

And AFAIK there are no such pack yet. It would be a good idea to have one, especially for new mods adding lots of units, but unless there are batch available to resize DDS, it will be a lot of works..

Oh well, I figured this site would be my last chance to find it. I guess I've no choice but to see how much work it would be and attempt to do it myself, because I will get low resolution textures no matter what it takes.

ImageMagick is your friend.

EDIT: IrfanView would be better, though, if you're not comfortable with the command line (or just daunted by ImageMagick's syntax). Note you will need the plugin pack. You want "Batch Conversion/Rename" in the File menu.
