By the way, sorry for the long delay of my reply, but my assistance was needed for finishing a great project...

Well, I don't expect to play this one fast anyway. I'm very cautious now.

Only a very few feature-length movies have been made in which chess is the main subject. I know of only four. Three of these have as their central theme the idea that chess players become obsessed with the game and go insane. This is depressing, tiresome, and not exactly true due to the fact that the majority of chess players are already insane before they take up the game.

Just something I Googled :)

The quote comes from this site. It's not really chess, but commentary on a television show.

Oh, I wanted to ask: What was the name for the opening I used? Maybe it's too rubbish to have a name :p

Jeremy Silman!??? I always regarded him as a reasonable person. Hmmm...
The opening started out as a Caro-Kann, but your second move took us out of any theory I known, so I hereby give you the right to baptize it yourself. Bent Larsen once commented a game where he called the opening in that game the call-it-whatever-you-like-opening.

I guess. Is he famous?

Sillman reviews the actual chess here, but the first page was written by Vace Aandah.

Silman. I came to the site by accident, but there's a lot of analysis in the Chess section, and from that I guess he's a famous old player because on one page he says: " Before our first Latvian posting I didn’t care for this gambit one way or the other. Now I hate it with a passion and, when I hit my 80th birthday, fully intend to devote my remaining years in finding one final, catastrophic refutation to this blight on humanity"
