I found a pretty cool Mac OS X style template last night. You can preview it here:

http://forums.civfanatics.com/index.php?styleid=12

I am not releasing it officially for now because there is one little problem needs fixing... The show thread page doesn't handle large screenshot/image well. :(

Note: Unlike previous styles, this style was made entirely by other people. All I did was changing the look of the forum main page a bit and adding some hacks to the pages.

Actually, all I see missing right now is the "post #" hack at the bottom of each post.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and the thread chain at the bottom of the page.

:D

Another thing I notice is that posters with longer names, like Alcibiaties of Athenae, that flow onto two lines in the left column, distort slightly the name field of the poster info box.

I like it, I am using it.....the bottom chain is a concern though....
I also like the title a lot, who did it? Great job! :goodjob:

The Mac OS X style is now officially released to the public (it's one of the choices in the style changer now)! I can fix the screenshot display problem and add the bottom chain later. :)

SCHWEET!!! This is awesome, even for a Windows user... any plans for an XP theme???

Possible... it might take a while though. :)

I'm using it right now, it's ok, but I'm probably going to stick with the blue one or other ones.

This one, I like. Well done, TF.

BTW, what are those big "e"s? What do they represent?

It tells a poster's online or offline status. Other styles have this feature too... just different icons.

Thanks but I meant from where do they come?

I like the touches of bright colours in this style. I miss the extra forum path link at the bottom and think the big e's don't serve the buddy list too well, but I can finally change the look here :)

THanks, TF.

How do I get rid of it? I have changed the style in my user profile but it still stays in Mac. I opened the link at the top of the thread to see what it's like but it won't let me go back, and converted both my windows to Mac style. It's not horrible, but it's not what I want! Arrgh!

Panic's over. I just changed it back but it did seem a bit strange that the user cp thing didn't take immediate effect.
