machu picchu improvement, how?

I have built the machu picchu wonder, and still have andeanism as my religion.
Building the wonder did give me one free machu picchu improvement.

But I can't build any more with my workers, they don't have the option to place machu picchu.
Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

EDIT: before you ask, no I did not trade away the machu picchu plans, I still have it as a rescource.

If you have the plans you should get the promotion the on the workers the next time they end their turn in a city. Then they should be able to build the improvement. New workers should get the promotion when built.

I guess it's bugged then, I already had tried making a fresh worker, and most of my workers are spending their time skipping turns in a city anyways, but they didn't gain the promotion.

Playing one of the most recent SVN versions (downloaded 2-3 weeks ago), maybe the most recent, I don't know if this turtle / tortoise whatever it's called updates it automatically or that I need to manually do that.

You simply need to right click on your mod file (repository) and select 'update' now to pick up the newest developments.

The Geoglyphs work so the theory is fine. I wonder if the Moai work or not? The aim was to reduce the number of one use workers by giving the benefit to all your workers.

I'll see if I can get some time to look into it. I am not sure when, I have had a test case for the Cannibalism bug fix ready to test for over a month and just don't have the time or inclination to finish it off.

Not all workers can build it. I tried to fix that but then my machine went weird. I am trying to fix that now and recover the changes I made to fix the workers.

@martinuzz which worker units are not able to build the Machu Picchu improvement? As far as I can see the Industrial Era onward don't have that ability nor do the Mammoth Workers but all the others should.
