MadV7- A Hot Date on Sengoku

@madv- I think people have lost interest because the situation seems unwinnable. Without rivers, we have relatively no cash, we don't have the necessary resources for this conquest. It takes great skill to beat emperor as the date. I'd be willing to try emperor as a better civ in this conquest. But if you want to continue, that's fine, don't let me change your mind.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to pull out. I'm getting busier by the day and my computer is increasingly broken. I don't think I could make another turn in time.

Sorry.

My opinion is to wage war against the Nogamis. They have horses near us. Also, Nagai is isolated and should be easy to take.
turn 1: nothing
turn 2: nothing
turn 3: nothing
turn 4: discover the wheel
turn 5: 1 crossbows and 1 cat fisnished
turn 6: finish crossbow
turn 7: nothing
turn 8: build some city I won't try to write the name
turn 9: nothing
turn 10: discover construction

I'm fine with war against them, only prob is if they have spears. Go for the iron and horses, sign peace, build up army, then :hammer:
They don't have spears in their closest cities. They have ashigarus.

Pre-turn- Mastertyguy played 11 turns, so I'll play 9 to even it out. Move the cat and crossbow so they can hit horse city and iron/silk city on turn 2 of the rush. After we get the two critical resources, peace then buildup then war again. Also change capital to rax, we've got another settler.

1. The yellow people give us a boot, and our daimyo moves backwards  .

2. Morioka stone > stone Hirosaki stone>stone Kitakami cat > cat. I do something odd. Mobilize for war. We're not building anything peaceful, and it greatly speeds units productions with all these plains. The rush will be a short war for horses and iron, we can sign peace to get out of mobilization.

3. Ancestor Worship > Shinto Perspects Couldn't turn down science :( . Hachinotini rax > stone Ichinoseki cat > cat

4. Mutsu rax > stone

5. Trade the Wheel for Shinto Perspects. Now on Feudalism. Do'h! [pissed] THE CITY WITH MOST OF OUR STONE RUSH UNITS FLIPPED!!! Also the iron city has spears now. We can only take the horse one. Anyway, life goes on...

6. Moving units around :coffee: .

7. Morioka, Horosaki, Hachinonoti, Mutsu stone > stone. We have enough to take the horse city, rest are for defense.

8. Oopsie, messed up writing turnlog, but I'm ending on 130 anyway. Ichinoseki and Kitakami cat > cat. We have sufficient defense, and are ready to take horses, so declare war. Next turn the city should be taken. And I'm using the daimyo as bait in the south, I think they run after daimyo's.

Anyway, good luck won't be needed to take the horse city, it's definately ours, so good luck to the next player on defense and flipping (horse city should probably build a settler to replace itself with.

Screen and save soon. Also, did some nice renaming :D .
