There are significant populations within these countries that would love to see our western values removed, and their values imposed upon the populations of these nations. They have willfully emigrated to these nations with no intention whatsoever of being a part of the society they are joining. They want to destroy it, they view their religion before the nation, they support violence, and support traditions that violate our own civic laws.
Right. Because everybody knows that Muslims are inherently evil.

Exactly which college taught you all this reactionary nonsense?

THE Ohio State University. You know, the school that puts other state universities from Ohio on its football schedule.

Are you implying there's a coordinated invasion of the "Western" world by extremists?

Do they have terror babies too?

9/11 was a coordinated invasion of the "western" world by extremists. The Palestinian population bomb in Israel is a coordinated invasion of Israel by hardline Muslims. I'm not completely familiar with Europe, but I would imagine there are groups of people within Europe that have entered those nations on a coordinated basis to stand against the west. They're called sleeper cells. Is this really secret squirrel material?

I said nothing about terror babies. Arwon does a generally good job of examining paternal versus societal influence earlier in the thread.

No, I never communicated this. In fact, I was exceptionally clear in my language so as to avoid confusion on this topic and not offend members of the board. Islam is not an inherently evil religion. The majority of Muslims in the world are genuinely good people. They are hard working and respectful. But not all of them are. And an disturbing portion of Muslims around the world exhibit extremist tendencies in one form or another. It does nobody any good to just roll our eyes and pretend that isn't an actuality.

If 9/11 was an invasion, they should work on their landing skills.

Sorry, there was no logic in this post to salvage to form more than a pretty lame joke. Tell us more about the Muslim hive mind.

Are you familiar with the poverty belt?

Christian mothers are conducting a coordinated attack on the children of Texas.

You mean like a disturbing portion of Americans who try to exaggerate how many Muslims are actually "extremists"?

The invasion occurred years before the attack when the attackers utilized our porous multicultural immigration policy to set up shop in an effort to undermine our nation. Do I have to spell out everything explicitly on this board in order to make a point? Good golly.

And almost 10 years after the fact, we still have people irrationally afraid. Mission accomplished.

OK. Define extremism and why an extreme belief is, in itself, bad and a threat.

Multiculturalism failed on a political (national level) in France, Germany and other nations because these governments at the times of massive immigrations didn't insist on mixing in (education, housing, jobs) the newcomers with the existing population.

Now, 10, 20, 50 years later you have whole communities that barely speak the official languages of countries they live in and since the initial integration was never done, the body is rejecting the organ it doesn't recognize as its own.

It's not rocket science.

First you must describe in real terms what qualifies as an extremist. Only then can we discuss what portion of them fall into the category. What bounds do you use to call someone an extremist? I listed some of mine, what portion of Muslims, or other third world immigrants, or Jews, do you believe adhere to extremist ideology? Feel free to break it up into varying categories.

By this logic, immigration itself is a multicultural policy. Should we background check every single person who wants to come here? Put quotas up on certain regions, religions, or ethnic groups?

You can't control everything, and we'll never be able to keep out every bad person. The best way to deal with it is to try and prevent what you can.

Absolutely.

So should we control immigration of Jews?

I have perfectly nice friends who beleive extreme things like "God created the world in 7 days" and "I should not have sex before marriage" and "It is justified to pre-emptively attack other countries in order to impose democracy" but I don't think they're a threat to anyone. Am I wrong? They do seem quite lovely but one never knows.

No, but if you introduce black cows into a brown herd you better make them have babies with brown ones (so that in a generation or two they blend in) or there's going to be trouble. They can always pretend they are black and be proud of their heritage. Or whatever. As long as they do their "black cow stuff" after dark at some remote part of the ranch.

Black... cows...?
