Make Civ More Like History

I personally like how civ isn't exactly like history...If you want it to be exactly like history that's what the scenarios are for.

37 - As long as you don't have mathematics, no number on the screen
38 - Once America beg France for help in a war against England, France must beg America for help in all war against Germany
39 - England (UK) can't export food. Every time this sanction is suspended by EU, a new cow disease appears in England
40 - When the leader's name of the american civilization is Bush, War is automatically declared on Iraq
41 - France and Netherland can't research the Constitution tech when playing on a Europe map

It's a joke!

42: Christianity and Judaism are always founded by Israel, Islam is always founded by the Arabs, Hinduism and Buddhism are always founded by India, and Confucianism and Taoism are always founded by China

Israel? I don't have the Israeli Civlization in my game. Don't you mean Babylon, Egypt or Sumeria or whatever the hell ruled over Palestine/Judea/Samaria at the time when Judaism was founded? And Rome should be the one who found Christianity (Jerusalem is one of Rome's Cities).

Some people should seriously lay off sheeping "mass media" and try to read a book once in a while.

It was a fairly safe bet that this thread would turn out this way.

43. Nukes should destroy the whole city (10% rebuildability chance)
[meaning that there is a 10% chance that the city will no be completely destroyed]

44. Every country should build its own nuclear project afterthe Manhatan Project has ben created, but should cost a little bit less.

45. You should be able to attack someone without declaring war (sounds familiar anyone?), but of course the attacked nation could declare after such attack.

Once again, this thread is not serious! THIS! IS! A! JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

48) If you're playing as America, your civics are Heridity Rule, Nationhood, Slavery, Mercantilism, and Theocracy, a glitch in the game occurs. Hillary Clinton rules your nation for the rest of the game. You can now build 100 Monuments per city, and more if you use the whip (Dead slaves don't nead houses, so more monuments can be built there. She may or may not allow ytou to continue playing, and if she lets you play, there's a 10% chance she will do what you want. Every turn you do not get an axe to destroy not only the game and computer, as well as the room and anyone who has been in that room, excluding yourself, there is a >99.99% chance you will be sucked into the computer, becoming a slave to Hillary. If you try to change civics after the glitch occurs, the >99.99% goes to >200%

1. Gandhi gifts one city to every neighboring civilization
2. No military units if Gandhi is the leader

16. Only wonders built by your civilization in real life can be built by your civ in the game.

17. You start on a real-world map where your civ started. You can't build costal cities if your civ is landlocked, can't build off an island if you civ in RL is stuck there, etc.

I actually think your first idea would be awesome! instead of just having unique units and buildings, you could have unique wonders! I'm not sure if i'm the only one who loves this idea, but CiV here we come

Unless anyone else have said this, how about making population growth in Civ more like real life? In the game, the city grew quickly in the ancient and middle ages, but then growths tend to stagnate in the industrial age. As far as history is concerned, from [insert date for dawn of man here] until about the 19th century growth had been gradual for general lack of proper medical care and knowledge, quality of life, etc. After that however, growth sky-rocketed. This should be represented in some ways in Civ5.

For instances, hospitals and supermarkets are definitely underpowered in the game - hospitals should perhaps give 4+ health, and supermarkets should give food-related bonuses, maybe +3 food to each city or something similar (and it could be made to work with corporations to make it more like real life.)

50. The United Nations doesn't actually do anything.
51. Air Ships become obsolete with fire tech.
52. The French aren't allowed to win a war (by the way, google "French military victories" and hit "I'm feeling lucky". You'll laugh.)
53. Obelisks and Stonehenge can't be built until Masonry.
54. The Great Wall only causes a graphic to appear.
