Making a new Main Menu image

I found the version by displaying the properties on the exe file. It says DXT1 Bitmap Manipulator version 4.0.0.85... Go figure...

What happens when you click on 'Save as ...' 'DDS Texture' ?

It just saves the file, without any other message. It does not save as a DXT5 (more likely a DXT3) from what I gathered.

I just downloaded version 4.00.94. It's identical.

I posted an image about what the drop down menu looks like in a previous post this afternoon (#17)

OK. I zipped the executable. If it doesn't work tell me quickly, it's rather late now.

EDIT : Now I'm interested to ear about your OS. 32 vs 64, XP vs Vista, ...

When I run your exe install file, it's telling me I have a more recent version and it skips.

Under save as, I do have a "creative assembly" option, besides dds texture. If I pick that, the formats available to save under include "Creative Assembly DXT5" -- is that the same thing???

I forgot -- I use Windows 2000. Nothing terrific here...

I don't think so. It may be with specific settings f.e. with the interpolation algorithm.

Never mind -- I found what you described earlier. Not sure why I couldn't see it before. I think this should work OK now.. Thanks again for your help.

Personally I export as DDS DXT 3.0, and when i have no alpha channel in texture 1.0
In both versions without minimaps
