I can appreciate the absurdity of these exaggerations. Godzilla is taking it way over the top, and losing the point imo, but that's absurdity (and free speech) for you.
Reuters cocked up and they deserve some flak anyway.
Oh dear, a mortal stab to my heart... my "liberal" media, indeed...
1: One freelance photojournalist does not constitute the whole of Reuters.
2: The irony of course is that the photo was damning as it was before having a bit more smoke added. However, carpet-bombing apologists can only see the smoke and not the fire.
3: If I were to add a little smoke to the background of the photo below or tell you this was "staged", would you still miss the true story behind the tragedy that is portrayed here? Would it change the fact that innocent civilians are the ones paying the largest price?
No, I didn't have to show you that, but people trying to make fun out of a war situation where the majority of casualties are civilian, or trying to excuse what the IDF is doing because of one idiot freelance photographer, makes me sick as well.
I'm sure that pic posted by Asclepius somehow breaks the rules of this site... I'm not just sure how, but that's just not funny at all. Unlike the pictures in the first post.
Jeez, didn't think this would have such a reaction.
And Asclepius, that picture is gross, but shows the diffrence between us and them, you would never find a picture of an israeli dead, becuase we respect and cover our dead, we don't parade them.
And, if we can post images of such gore, I guess this would be fine:
