I'm hunting for a map of Erebus (for a DnD campaign that I'm running.) The best descriptions of the World that I've found is MagisterCuultum's Description here:

The Bannor have the largest empire (at least until Decius conquers and unites enough other nations), even though they have not reconquered much of their territory from the Age of Magic, which is now held by their neighbors the Clan of Embers. The Cliffs of Hastur marks the border between Bannor and Balseraph lands. The Lanun used to control the coasts of the Bannor's continent, but their cities were conquered and assimilated by the Bannor after a war to purge them of the Overlords. They still control coasts and islands elsewhere around the Aegean sea. The Grigori also live near the Bannor. The Malakim and Calabim dwell in and around the Desert of Myrh, which is across the sea from the Bannor Empire. I think that most of the civilizations in the game may be on the same continent as this desert. The Elohim and Sheaim live in more fertile lands on the opposite side of the Desert as the sea that Decius crossed to get there when fleeing the Bannor empire. The Mercurians are initially summoned in Elohim lands, although a second Mercurian gate was later opened elsewhere by the Overcouncil (presumably in Malakim-held territory). The mist filled marshy lowland home of the Sidar is separated from the Desert of Myrh by the Deruptus Mountains, which is home to the Khazad. The Hippus dwell mostly in the foothills of these mountains, possibly isolating the Khazad from their Luchuirp cousins. (We know the least about the location of the Luchuirp, but the horselords are long time enemies of the Khazad and did capture and sell Beeri to be a slave to Perpentach.) The Hippus have lost control of some of these hills to their Amurite and Kuriotate neighbors. The Amurites have a sea border on the opposite side of their empire as the land border from which they were attacked by the Infernal. On the opposite side of the Desert of Myrh as the Deruptus Mountains is the Umbrawood, which is home to the Ljosalfar and Svartalfar. The Svartalfar portion is closer to the desert. The Calabim and the Doviello live not far from there. The Whispering Wood (home of the Well of Shadows, where the Once Elves live) is in a wilderness between the Ljosalfar and Illian empires, near where Auric Ulvin's home town of Brigdarrow stood before it was destroyed by goblins hired by a certain Sheaim minor leader.

The Fane of the Lessers is far across the sea from both Bannor and Malakim lands. This region is technically part of Erebus but seems more like hell. It has been occupied by demons since the time of the Godswar.

The Dead Lands are what has become of the Isle of Nemora. This remote island was once the lushest paradise in Erebus, but when Tebryn Arbandi moved in and sealed the Well of Creation it became nearly as hellish as the Fane of the Lessers.

Does anyone know/have/want to make a map of erebus?

2nd page of this subforum, grab the lore compendium and at pages 22/23 there's a nice cloth map ( you could print the two pages and paste them around a cylinder, that way you would have a very good view of how it wraps around itself)

also check the modmods section for Nikis-Knight's huge map which is uber-detailed ( check how the malakim+calabim area looks the same as the into the desert scenario ;) )

I'd love to see a proper map of Erebus.

If I recall correctly, the main issue with all the maps we have is that they are wrapped, and Erebus is actually flat (assuming I didn't forget all of my lore over the last two years?). So if we could remake them as a flat map, that would be really really cool.

Yeah, Erebus is a flat, infinite world. I suppose it would make it a little impossible to make a map of Erebus because there's even more land beyond the edges of the Erebus we know. There could be hundreds of other civilizations that we don't know about.

Well, that's true, but we could at least make a map of "known Erebus".

Actually, now that I think about it, I thought there was a theory from someone that while Erebus itself was an infinite plane, the amount of land on it wasn't, and so eventually we'd run out of land?

Then that would mean it just be water going on and on, which would probably make Danalin really powerful if he wasn't napping. "Bam. Take a huge wave I started far, far away by flicking the water."

Why do you assume that there needs to be water or land. If the land is finite, then the water would be also. This would mean that the world has an edge. Perhaps Erebus is made up of many "islands" of matter surrounded by endless nothingness.
