Map question

If I make a custom game, what map script should I be using? Hemispheres? I've played two games using smart map, and each time I got no trees anywhere in the world. Maybe this map script could be updated and included? It's definitely my favorite one I've found so far.

It's available here, though now that I look at it, it being two years old may have something to do with it's problems in this mod. Worked fine for regular BTS though.
