Map smearing...

I keep finding that, as I uncover more map, that the mini and global maps 'smear' horizontally, to the point of complete illegibility. It doesn't happen in the first few turns, but grows more likely as I continue exploring. It's pretty much guranteed by the 20th turn. It also happens most any time I activate the map editor.

Is anyone else getting this?

This happends to me aswell

I have a GeForce 6200 with 256 MB, actually that's my only problem with CIV

Many people including myself have had this problem - there are several (albeit, quite old threads) in the technical support forum. I also have a 6800 GT and initially fixed the problem by rolling back to older Nvidia drivers. However, the latest Nvidia drivers (81.95) also have fixed the problem for me. Remember to uninstall old drivers first before loading new ones.

I have that occasionally, ALT-TAB to the desktop and then click back on the civ window takes care of it for me.

I've got the same card and have no issues.

I have the same card also and I had this problem until I updated to newest drivers(81.95).
