I have notised and read that having marble in your city will improve that cities wonderproduction.

My question is: By how much?
I have read people who swear that it is 25%. But I only get 15% (while playing King).

My sub-questions is:
1)
Is there a differers if the Marble is one, two, three or more spaces from your city (assuming it is within your city (culture) border?

2)
Is there a difference if you are playing on prince, king, etc. level?

Stuff I know:
I must have Masonry and the marble must be improved by a worker.
Whether the marble is "selected in city management" or not does not matter.

It used to be 25% I believe but was altered to 15% in one of the big patches. Generally modifiers were reduced and base tile/building yields were increased to balance that.

To 1 and 2 I'm pretty sure not. (You might get global bonus to production below Prince but I'm not sure)

I'm sure it doesn't matter if it's 1 or 3 tiles away. Which makes me wonder, could two (or three) cities profit from a single marble tile?

Only the one whose cultural border first takes the marble in I believe. Same for stone works and I guess monasteries etc.

It'd be more versatile if a city needs to work the marble for the wonder production bonus; that way several cities could take advantage of it but only one at a time.

It makes sense but would be complicated with buildings such as stone works or monastary.

is this bonus to wonder production shown in a tooltip? Or anywhere?

If you settle a city on top of marble, you don't need to have masonry to get the wonder production bonus IIRC.
