Massive Crossover IOT

I can vaguely remember a few times where first turn joiners are treated exactly like pregame joiners but I would have to spend 2 hours looking at threads to actually give you a concrete example. Unlike Thor, I am not an IOT encyclopedia.

Very well. How about I allow you to expand 3 provinces this turn since you have already started with 2 extra, and let you keep the 10 development?

Oh, I thought you didn't count city provs. Since they're full provs I'll just take all of Jutland.

cool beans my guy

On an unrelated note: Are you from the Minecraft Forums? I believe I saw you on a couple of ocassions back in the day (or perhaps I'm confusing you with someone else) (I used to be Kinkaz over there, sorry if I was a douchebag back in the day).
Yeah I was. First forum I ever went to/joined in fact. Don't really remember you though.

Boatmurdered will send Udibkosak, the current mayor of the fortress, to the Tennis Competition in the Koopa Kingdom.

OOC: Yeah, I have decided that I wouldn't make a very good impression of Boatmurdered (especially since I don't want to use the usernames of the people involved), so I have decided to turn it into a generic DF settlement, although it may still include references to Boatmurdered. The reference links have been updated.

Also, if I get two more people sending in their orders, I'll do the orders lock on Saturday 6:00 P.M UTC.

For future reference, it'd be nice to say that UTC is just GMT without daylight savings time. Because, I really had no idea what the hell it meant and thus was about to do orders now

By the grace of His Surliness, King Bowser Koopa, we are happy to announce the commencing of the International Tennis Tournament at Bowser's Castle. We invite all world leaders (or their national sports players if they are too chicken) to contest. Bowser himself will partake in the games along with Bowser Jr and the Kooperlings. The winner will be rewarded with the golden trophy of the tournament. For doubles the King will team with his son and heir Bowser Jr.

We extent this invite to all powers.

Sounds fun! We'll send our best player to participate in the tournament!

The Pokémon Leauge Proudly announces that the regions of Unova and Kalos have restablished their historic links to the Pokémon League. Although seperated from the Home Regions by hundreds of miles, they still represent core areas of the proud tradition of Pokémon training. Different languages only means that our Pokédexes have more data to collect!

Adventurous Pokémon Trainers have also braved the wilderness between the Home Regions in order to investigate the wildlife and survey the land for constructions of new Routes. The minor regions of Fiore, Almia, and The Battle Zone has also been united with the League, and negotiation with incoperating the Battle Frontier and the Sevii Islands are expected to close soon.

2131: The Year of Sports

INTERNATIONAL TENNIS COMPETITION IN THE KOOPA KINGDOM

King Bowser has invited all nations of the world to participate in an international tennis cup set to happen this year. So far the nations of Koletruden, Chaldea Security Organization, Imperium Offtopicum and Kingdom of Monsters have accepted the invitation, although none have accepted the dare to send in their leader (Koletruden sent their mayor, not their king). Their parent nations wish their players the best of luck, and may new bonds (or rivalries) be formed!

Notes:
  • I know it might seem unfair to let Omega claim NY and France, but after I ignored her question a week ago regarding these matters and later I had a meltdown on Discord, I’ll let her get away with it since she did have in-lore proof of her claims. I’m sorry for not handling these matters better.
  • Since I let IOT make orders in their starting turn, I’ll compensate the Kingdom of Monsters by giving them some extra money and 5 extra claims this turn.
  • Also, I'm going to update the OP with the things I mentioned in the posts.

Orders lock Thursday, 0:00 A.M UTC (no daylight savetime)!

International Tennis Tournament

LakituSM64.png

Welcome folks! This is Lakitu, reporting live for KNN from the international tennis tournament at Bowser's Castle!

mtoart18.jpg

Its a lovely day today at Bowser's Castle; hopefully not too hot for the tournament!

It was decided the tournament would be settled through a round robin system to avoid the problems with having a odd number of players allow each and everyone to test each other, as well as to have the great chance to play the King of Awesome himself, Bowser Koopa! Speaking of... it is time to go over the players!

First in both naming and prestige is His Majesty the Great Demon Sorcerer King Bowser Koopa of the Koopa Kingdom, renewed for his skills in all sports (especially go-kart, boxing, wrestling and figure skating). We of Koopa Media are in no way bias but we are fully committed to Bowser's victory today!

Muffet: champion of the Monster Kingdom's tennis board. She has qualified on condition she uses only one tennis racket. We heard that Monster Kid came close to being chosen.

Gantor Rockscream: proud orcish Horde warrior turned tennis player.

Nuka: hailing from the... Imperium of Topicum? Er... we ned to reread that...

And finally Nero Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus of the Fifth Roman Emperor... err so says the details. Anyhow we hope this "Saber" figure they keep speaking of is with by the Stars!

Now that they are gathered... we will begin the tournament!
---

Nuka alas ended up out the tournament earlier due to straight loses and the instances of the heat.

Gantor Rockscream tended up playing too aggressively and ended up fourth.

Nano hold her ground and played vigilantly, losing only to both Muffet and Bowser. She is third.

----

Finally: the showdown between the players of the Koopa Kingdom and the Monster Kingdom.

For the Koopa Kingdom: His Majesty the Great Demon Sorcerer King Bowser Koopa!

For the Monster Kingdom: the seller of many baked goods its Muffet!

Now time for...

---

After a long match

---

The Kingdom of the Monsters has had their champion won!

Muffet bested Our Majesty in by 3 points.

His Majesty gave Muffet the trophy and the crowd cheered!

Muffet is the champion of international tennis!

Spoiler RNG rolls out of 20 I used for determination of results :
Bowser got 15, Nano got 12, Muffet got 18, the player from the Horde got 6 and Nuka got a 1

"I may not have come first, but coming third still means I get a medal! Umu! And it was nice to see Rome again, although King Bowser I'm not sure I like what you've done with the place...way too much lava. As my many skills involve architecture, if you ever want my advice then you know where to find me."

The Pokémon League is proud to announce that our negotiations with The Sevii Islands has finally reached a breaking point, and that they have finally agreed to join the Pokémon League. With the exception of the lost region of Alola, which is currently occupied by the SimNation*, the Pokémon Leauge is pleased that all known, outstanding regions of the Pokémon world have been accounted for in this strange new area. We accept and understand SimNation's claims to the islands, and the Pokémon League is more than happy to continue the status quo. However, as the region has a proud history of Pokémon training, including being the home of subspecies of Pokémon not found elsewhere in the world, we would like to humbly request to allow our trainers to enter former Alola for the capturing of these Pokémon.

Our attention is now turned to new countries, those outside the system of the League. When the top researchers across the regions hypothesised that there were 805 various kinds of Pokémon, many trainers thought that number was way too insurmountable to catch 'em all. Now, with nations like The Koopa Kingdom and The Under showing what can only be described as countless new species of monsters, the number of existing "capsule monsters", or Pokémon, is easily assumed to now break into the quadruple digits. We wish no quarrel with these new monster societies, although we would like to send our researchers to study you monsters in your natural habitat, so we may better attempt to understand the mystery that is Pokémon.

*There is also Orre, which SimNation also occupies. However, if they want to try to administer such a lawless region, that's their funeral. Nothing of value was lost**

**OOC: This does not reflect my actual opinions of the gamecube Pokémon games, which are actually some of my favorites in the series as a whole.

SimNation will allow Pokémon trainers entrance to the Twikkii Islands, or Alola as they call it. We also announce our intentions to admit Arkansims, Kansims, Simbraska, the Simkotas and Simrida as states of SimNation.
