Shouldnt mayors, suggest building quese or even make the polls for them? And do they do resource allocation in this dgame?

Purpose of mayors:
* give the citizens of their city the "feel" for it. so they maintain a city thread, take screenshots, try to identify citizens with "their" city. and with that of course try to attract people to the city
* work out build queue proposals and post discussions and polls for them, then lobby the governor to use them
* work out citizen moods proposals and post discussions and polls for them, then lobby the governor to use them
in short, they can propose(!) any city related matter to the governor (like every citizen), but all those should go thru discussion and polling first. its up to the governor to use those proposals, but he would have a hard time going against a mayor setup dicussion or poll

Mayors have no official constitutional power but because of this they don't have any rules to follow (other than those us regular citizens and forum users must follow).
Mayors are encouraged to post a thread abouth their city complete with screenshots. It is hoped that mayors will watch over thier respective cities and give out a yell whenever their city is being mis-handled by the governor or any other government official.

I wish to re-iterate my interest in this position. During my time participating in demogames 1 & 2, There have been no serious crisis. I was lucky to have joined after the new constitution was adopted. Since then, I have worked on and helped pass legislation involving the quroum, and deputy governors. Uneventful, yes, but I still feel that everything I have done since then makes me the most qualified person for this job.

I must admit that I dont have any mayor experience, but would like to be given a chance to get some. I have, however, been the Trade Chat rep, and i am currently the Lt. Trade Minister, and assistant Director of PR. I would like to be mayor becuase i am dedicated to this great city and would like to have more of a say in how it is ran, and its build queses(?). My view on provincial boarders is that they should be about 5-7 cities big. After a province has 7, then a new province should be started.

Hmm... Does this mean I have to move? I don't want to sound picky, or mean, but I was the first citizen of Valhalla. If possible, I wish to be mayor of that city.

I will accept the posision in Morgana. Now I'll be the first citizen of that city, also. However, it does mean a longer commute from my castle at St. Mark's Point. Add to that traveling to Bavaria to the Vice Presidentail Offices, the UN, and another planet for my vice presidential duties in Fanatica, my schedule will be slightly busy.
