Hmm...I disagree, and I think we need to come up with some forum-wide wager on this. Like the losing side has to put a picture of the election winner as their avatar, and "I make crappy predictions" in their signature, or something similar.

Truly, I think Obama will probably win, but I'm quite sure that it's far from as certain as you seem to think it is.

I'm game for a wager.

I can't find anything saying that it's illegal. I've seen plenty of sites offering odds, though, and apparently it was mainstream enough in 2004 for MSNBC to comment on it, with no mention of illegality. Besides, I've never heard of any anti-gambling law that applied to forum avatars - just money.

Seems we have some interest. Someone needs to start a thread (I'll start one in a minute if no one else wants to) to discuss the rules and stuff.
