Meantime Micro - Mafia Victory!

If you get another wagon I will happily move to that one to safe Bianca, but as you can see you were the only on with 2 votes.
vote: Marcher Jovian

Now, MJ or Tim? Which one do you prefer?

I'll stick with Tim, MJ is not giving me town like at all, which means MJ should be town and Bianca is out of risk at the moment.

I read this really impassioned post from a really good Mafia player. He talked about the chopping of the low hanging fruit. How as "skilled" players we drift into this world of "it is your job to clear your slot" and then when we have just methodically chopped all the low hanging fruit in whatever order the wolves have dictated we then blame the loss on the poor play of the LHF, or maybe the cleverness of the wolves.

My response was that he had done a great job of pointing out the problem, but not really offered a solution. We can't say "I will not chop the LHF," and just give the LHF a free pass. We must either learn how to clear the LHF without their help, or we must teach and incentivize the LHF to clear themselves.

I put to you Ace that, as town, I believe that I am a huge resource to the town. I understand that if I am a wolf I am a huge threat to the town. If you genuinely believe that I am a wolf, your vote is well placed. If you do not, then you AND Bianca stand a better chance to win the game as villagers if you vote elsewhere.

ok am i supposed to be offended by being labeled a LHF...because I'm not haha I googled it though you so bad Tim

but its okay its better for my strategy as town haha

@biancasbotique are you thinking what I'm thinking you are thinking, if so give me a wagon to prevent you from dying if you want to save Tim.

No offense meant Bianca. I was actually thinking more of Ace. If I were a wolf I could very easily, as I did last game, point out that his "no Bianca ever even if she outright claims wolf" play is, number one, just bad town if it is town, and number two, when he finally does rand wolf he can make outright anti-town plays and say "for Bianca" and maybe get away with it. That argument is a rock solid argument that could most likely make him the chop of the day at any time in any game...thus the low hanging fruit.

So my job is to either figure out how to find him as town when he is town, or help him find some tweaks to his playstyle that will allow him to be harder to chop.

Rather than just chop him, potentially be playing directly into the wolves win conditions, and then blame him for it.

But you don't have to chop him, you can chop someone else :p say Lord Argon?

Lord Argon also is very much LHF though. That's why he is so frequently the day one chop. Chopping him is just way easier than solving him...for all the wrong reasons.

It is a challenge.

But atm you are not a contender for top wagon, I might not be the sharpest spoon, but I I am the shiniest.

Okay shiny spoon, reflect on this:

BIANCA is not a contender for top wagon either, since she only has one vote and Syns isn't exactly cranking out posts saying "why I voted BIanca and you should too." So you "frantic Bianca defense" is unwarranted and could make people wonder what you are really up to. Or could be latched onto by an opportunistic wolf that just wants an easy day one chop.

I feel we are not even playing the same game. Raising the vote in top wagon will prevent EoD shenanigans from reaching Bianca.
LA not trying to make a thunder dome is worrisome to some degree. I don't think Bianca's guesses are so farfetched.

@LordArgon needs to post some reads or something. We can't make any solves of him if he doesn't post.

Indeed, Bianca is not my top suspect. You, @Ace Marvel, have been acting far scummier. But you know that it is possible that Bianca could have randed wolf, yet you refuse to consider her and jump to defend her on every turn. She doesn't need your defense - if you are both town, she needs your help to find scum.

I admit I have a similar dislike of knocking off Tim or Syn. I've co-hosted with both of them and feel like I can analyze them better (although I am often wrong!) But it needs to be in a way that helps my win-con, which is finding mafia.

Being a townie isn't about surviving - it's about clearing as many slots as possible and uncovering information. Once I realized that, my playstyle changed. Sure, I might get lynched for going "against the grain," but I reveal lots of information while doing so. My tie-up of Tim led to info. Switching to MJ did as well. My goal is have enough info so that no matter who is lynched, we get some reads, votes, and etc. on various parties.

I look up to all of you as good players, but don't try to read, instead think of who would let me act this way if I was wolf, or who benefits from this and you will find your teams, I'm no LHF, I'm already on the floor.

And what makes you think I'm not doing the same, my lack of experience? I said it from the very first game if my death helps town win, I will always agree.
