Since most of people already have PTW, most of us should be aware of the great advantages of the Medieval Infantry. In the following there is a Ancient to Feudualism Strat. I am going to share with u. This works very well with industrious civs. First, before you start researching Feud. make shour you have a couple of cities with good production. Set your research to the lowest % you can while still researching, now u have max. income. Now have your good cities build non stop swordsman for 40 turns untill you research Feud. You should have about 20-40 swordsman or even more. With the cheap upgrade cost of 10 gold you can upgrade all your swordsman to unstoppable Infantry.

playing as persia, you can do the same from warriors to swordsman, this is commonly known.

Another interesting idea as the vikings is archers to berserk and prebuilding leonardos for the upgrade cost.

If you have the opportunity (i.e. peace), you should wait until you are able to build Leo's Workshop. It'll halve the upgrade cost. It's substantial if you are upgrading such a large number of units.

It's 20 gold not 10 unless you play accelerated production. Also, it's better to use swordsmen against spearmen than it is to use Medieval Infantry vs Pikemen. However, Med. Infantry vs spearmen is even better. And if you are against pikemen with swordsmen, you should proably wait until med. infantry.

u get pikemen the same time u get med inf, so supposing that ur enemies are not trailing behind in tech, this strat wont work.

neverfight in the anchient or medieval ages.

Well, it's about the same change of strategy as horseman/knights become horseman/some other new PTW uu...

The arabs rule big time btw.
