I have been playing around with the Mediterranean map in a few games, but they've been pretty boring. The map is so big that you usually don't come into serious contact with other civilizations for a very long time. The early game is simply a matter of running around chasing the numerous ruins, which is pretty dull. Is there a way to play it that is interesting?

One of my games months ago. Hope this will show you that unless you increase civs and cs's the game will be hard, especially domination. Walking around 30 turns just to reach one civ. >_>
