Menus are not visible

I am having really big problem when i try to play civ4.
As you can see the menus are not visible. Sometimes I have this problem on my PC but when I change the graphics settings everything is fine.
On my Laptop i installed the game today and I dont know how to fix this anymore. In the beggining it was all fine, then on my 2nd load it started to show up. I tried several graphics changes but they dont work.
Is there any solution for this problem ?

Did you ever install the BUG mod at your computers?
It can interfere with the installation and if you installed it as default then it will not get removed when you uninstall civ4.

Problem fixed by itself. Don't have any clue how.
