How do I get BUG to work for the Next War MOD? Right now my Next War interface is all but gone - I need noob friendly instructions on this

You can make Next War work (without BUG) by changing "NoCustomAssets" to 1 in "Next War.ini".
Another user has posted a merged version of Next War in this forum, and Cammagno on the BUG team was working on doing the same. We would like to have the core BTS mods pre-merged as options when installing BUG; we just haven't had enough time to do it yet.
