MGE for Mac

I've been looking everywhere, and there's no Civilization II Gold for Mac ANYWHERE!! Please Help!

(I know what you're thinking, and the Gold patch doesn't work on Mac Computers. I Know. I've tried.)

There is no Civilization II Gold for PC anywhere either.

Its a needle in a haystack thing.You're gonna have to get lucky somewhere,somehow.

eBay and half.com have MGE for PC. Cheaper than normal.

hehehe...ever see how fast they go?..you pretty much have to monitor e-bay 24/7...or pay big bucks to outbid.

Hey I got Civ II Gold for Mac from an abandonware site - didn't even realize that people still payed for it! You don't get the movies and such from the CD, but I doubt many people keep those on for very long anyway. I saw that Civ III PTW for sale, but my G3 begged me not to make it run it... anyone still play Civ II multi? I went to gameranger and got hassled by the little kiddies there when I asked...

Yes GR is basically the MAC equivalent of The Zone.Lots of..um...how I say?...somewhat immature players as far as Civ2 is concerned.Although a good host for a game with some dedicated players in a private game.
Not that much Civ2 MP these days,but still some activity.Generally just played with direct tc/ip connections.MAC and PC are fully compatible in this area

Probably the best chance of getting a MP game up spur of the moment is to visit the mp forum at ApolytonCS.Most diehards have fairly large contact lists on ICQ and get games up by just sending out messages.Only need 2/3 people and you're off.

Whoa, didn't realize they were still rakin in the dough from CIV II! Place didn't look 'warezy' - I guess that line's easy to cross. Well I'm getting III anyway, might as well, maybe I can pump this little blue bugger up enough to trudge through it. Yeah I stumbled across Apolyton, looks like I'll be getting my butt whooped tomorrow sometime They even have a little Mac group.. I mean little, I'm #7!
