I put outposts in all of those empty squares near the oil, hoping the AI wouldn't settle on them. But I don't really know if it works or not, we just had a lot of extra workers to play with.

Moscow completes the Military Academy > hospital. I know it doesn't need one, but we have only 4 hospitals and Battlefield medicine requires 4. So, I'm building it here so we get it faster, no city is in real need of one for a while.

1585AD [7]: Decide to check just in case, and Wall street actually gives more cultre than the BF, 2 against 1. Seeing that, I rush a Stock in Calcutta and use the hospital in Moscow as a minor prebuild.

1590AD [8]: Moscow switches to Wall Street, due in 4.

Pretty boring turns, mostly waiting... the cultural victory is still some 100 turns away...
 
Good turns Ankka! Lets try to get spies everywhere now, as we may need them later. Remember, if you can't get a spy in on the first try, wait 5-6 turns and try again.

I think we should set up blockades between us and India, JIC. We have more than enough workers, and they will get it done very quickly, besides, what else are they gonna do? LOL!

I think we have 5 other cities that can build hospitals. Now we have to pay unnecessary maintenance for this unneeded hospital forever, as hospitals cannot be sold.

I agree it's boring now. It's always true for a culture game. I guess we can do max research to build modern age wonders (Computers first) to get it done faster. There is no worry of a space win anywhere.

Other than that, not much to report, I spent a fair bit of cash getting the cpt up in our border cities.

Good turns. An awful lot of rushing in unnessary rushes though. I don't see Hangchow needing a cathedral for a very long time. Remember, our income is now tied to how much gold we have in the bank.

Chop all of the forests in Vladivostock, with everything railroaded there, they are simply no longer effective. Each of those plain tiles can get it 1 shield and 3 food or 3 shields and 1 food. I would irrigate all of the plains first, to get Vlad's pop up, then mine 2 squares.

Preturn: I decide to go full speed on research to get some modern wonders built. Mass Production in 4 turns.

I sell Combustion to India for 291gpt+77g+WM.

I can see our borders are defended properly. :lol:

Merge some workers. I also start some infantry. Not a big deal but I just want to see more than one defender in the cities. I also start a destroyer.

We could make Bufflo a 1-turn infantry if we switch irrigation to mine, but since we don't have much to build, more food is better (more pop == more scientists/taxmen). As game in this state, MM is mostly meaningless.

IBT Palace expansion. India is the most advanced civ? Yep, it's up us Facism.

1675AD: Mass Production -> Motorized Transportation in 4.

We can now build Commercial Docks.

I chop forests around Bryansk.

1680AD: Steel to Ottomans for WM+46gpt+11g.

1690AD: Motorized Transportation -> Flight in 5. I merged quite some native workers and we are making +172gpt at 90% science. Novgorod is size 27 so I start pumping out settlers to merge into other cities.

IBT America demands Combustion, I tell it to go away and it declares. It also declares on Iros.

Ganges riots.

1695AD: I MA with India by 17gpt, mainly to avoid losing the huge gpt payment. I also MA with Ottomans by furs+6gpt.

I start some colloseums.

1700AD: I just noticed we are still buying silks from Ottomans while we already have it, so I cancel the deal and get 29gpt back.

We are 101cpt and will win within 67 turns.

After Flight let's go Fission and then Computers -> Miniaturization. The current deal with India will end in 10 turns, and we can sell another tech if it pays such good price again.

I tear apart the American cavalry with our artillery, and then let the cossacks play, and we get Trotsky :D

He's sent back to Moscow, as we can't support any more armies.

The cavs are finished off with tanks. It is a glorious slaughter. The entire Motherland rejoices.

Summary

Pretty uneventful aside from the American "invasion". We're pretty much on cruise control now.

I think we can sell Mass Production to India and get 150gpt (full price).

After computers please upgrade all our infantry. We can also disband a cossack army and replace with tank+MI army.

We make -200gpt, but I see no reason to sell tech, after mini, we will have more to build at Moscow than we have time to do. Krasno can grow every 2 turns now, Tver in 3, I would keep it that way. After the research lab you could mm Yaroslavl to fast growth - I think it would be worth more than just producing more shields for wealth. Culture in Moscow is 15.298 at 101 = 46 turns probably some less; I wont get it back anyways. Looks like microbe can finish it, what I'd see fitting.

I forgot to build the tank army so have fun with it :)
