Microsoft Visual Code for Mac

Hello,

Does anyone had successfully compiled a DLL file with MS Visual Code for Mac? I tried, using old tutorials for PC but i couldn't do it.

Are you attempting to compile a DLL to work with a Mac version of Civ4? If so, it won't function, even if you manage to compile it successfully. Aspyr hardcoded the DLL into the Civ4/Warlords/BTS applications.

You can do it if you install Windows in Parallels or Bootcamp, but as Xyth has said, it will only produce a Windows compatible DLL.

Don't be fooled by the DLL file that's installed with the Mac version of the game. That's only there so that Firaxis' checksum tests produce the right answers. It doesn't actually execute.
