Whats the earliest time you have entered the middle ages?

Not exactly sure what MY earliest entry into the Middle Ages was, but in a Deity game I've seen the AI enter it as early as 1600BC. This was a game in which they reached the Modern Age in 930AD...

Bamspeedy posted a picture recently where, due to goody hut techs popped with scouts, he was in the middle ages by 2200BC.

I've gotten into Republic a number of times by about 2200 BC, and the middle ages come very soon after that. Getting to Republic that soon is not so good, because you haven't had time to build many happiness buffers. I prefer getting there about 1500 BC. In a few games, I didn't get Republic until after 10AD, and that's not so good, either.

I got all the techs you can get in the Ancient Age on Warlord by 370 AD and reached Middle Ages.
