You are close, you can do more than that regarding it's tragic end.

The picture looks a lot like the charge of the light brigade at Balaclava, and yes that is florence.

privatehudson, you just got another 2 points :D
that is florence, and the battle is THE CHARGE OF THE LIGHT BRIGADE.

notice the valley, flanked with smoking cannon, while there are cavs in the middle.
will try something harder next time :D

That is a submarine. It`s name is CSS Hunley. It was by the CSA.

Is that TCG Kocatepe? That ship was sunk by the Turkish Air Force.(Friendly Fire) The ship radio operators said that the ship was Turkish but the pilots did not believe it. The radio operators then cursed in Turkish and the pilots said that the Cypriots talked Turkish better than the Turks and bombed the ship. :(

You are correct. Turkish Prime Minister Ecevit even had a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Kissinger, complaining about a Greek destroyer navigating south, but he was not convinced that the ship was indeed Turkish.

ok im totally lost, which picture are we discussing... theres the one of the destroyer and then the second one came up? im lost... as always
