Mini-NOTW IX: Carnival House

My game has started. Day 3 is dawning, so I recommend you get cracking on working for your team, whether innocent or otherwise.

Here is my PM.
Role: Minor Angel
Victory: Innocent

You are an Angel of Junil, or at least you were before your fall. Junil is the God of Law, and despises the corruption of Perpentach. He has long sort to avenge him for the brutal genocide of thousands of worshippers living on the border between the Balseraph and Bannor Kingdoms. However, the Divine Compact prevents Gods from directly acting in Creation. And so he sent you. You didn't want to go, once an Angel has fallen from Heaven they can never return, but it was your duty to obey.

You came to Erebus during the height of the Celluvian Fate, a carnival performed on the third Thursday of July every sixteenth year, in which the entire population of Jubilee dresses in blue and consumes nothing but vodka. An ideal time to strike. You walked through the streets of the city towards the Palace where Perpentach no doubt lay in a pool of vomit in some gaudy, tasteless drawing room somewhere. With strong arms you swept crowds of blue-wearing drunkards to either side as you approached. Guards tried to stop you, but were no match for your sword of holy judgement.

You burst through the main gate and into the courtyard. In front of you, and to either side there were wide open passageways leading to various parts of the Palace. Suddenly, portcullises dropped in each of them, and behind you. What was this? Some kind of trap! Did these fools truly think mere iron could stop you? An Angel of Junil! You leapt towards it and grabbed hold of the iron framework, but quickly withdrew your hands as a viciously sharp jolt surged through your veins. They had enchanted the portcullis with powerful electricity. Promptly, the tips of arrows appeared in the narrow slits all along the courtyard walls, and with a loud hiss hundreds of arrows swept towards you. Each one laced with poison.

You were knocked unconscious, and now only just awaken. The poison is still thick in your veins and it weakens you greatly. However, you are sure that your strength will gradually recover. You are ashamed that you allowed yourself to be captured, that you were arrogant enough to burst in through the front door and expect to succeed. And you are angry that your God cast you from his embrace. Your sword was taken from you, and now you have nothing. You are nothing.

Charge: Attempted Assassination
Alignment: Neutral
Strength: 0/5

Items:

Helmet of Junil: Through this helmet, even hidden evil is revealed to you. Each night you can scan another contestant and you will receive information regarding their alignment.

Abilities:

You will gain 0.5 strength every morning.

Goal: You have only just awoken, and already it is clear that the Cultist serves evil. He barely even tries to disguise it. Ensure his successful nomination.

The night Krill got killed was a direct result of me revealing that my goal was to have him lynched and it was an accurate result. Most of the night actions were based on my scans with my helmet.

I seem to have deleted my role PM, Basically, I snuck around in the sewers and went through trapdoors between the sewers and the basements of people's houses, and stole a lot of stuff. I later broke into the royal palace, stole an amulet belonging to a visiting princess, and got captured.

So yeah, that amulet really was Catharsis's. After he made that post in the thread saying something about arson, I sent him a PM that said something like, "Note to self: Set victims on fire next time."

Role PM of Princess Long-name-that-I-can't-remember:

Role: Princess
Victory: Innocent

You are a Sheaim Princess, given to King Perpentach by your family in exchange for a large dowry of land on the shared border. Like all of the Sheaim aristocracy you worship Ceridwen, the Goddess of Pain and Misery. From a young age you were taught that the little people, the peasants and farmers of the land, were your playthings and you enjoyed serving your Goddess by burning down their hovels with magical flames, kidnapping their children and sowing their fields with salt. Yes, it was the good life for you. But then you reached maturity and it was time for you to be married.

Promptly you were marched to Jubilee, under armed guard, and presented to the King. Upon first laying eyes on him, your skin crawled. Such an ugly man! With the looks of a commoner dressed like a clown. He sat there high above on his thrown, leering down at you, and you felt thankful for your formal, neck-high dress. Regardless, you knew what your fate would be. You spent two months at the Palace before your marriage, and hated every second of it. The people were awful, and utterly tasteless, and the food was repulsive. Also during your stay, a precious Magical Amulet was stolen from your room. Thankfully, you didn't see your groom-to-be much during this time.

However, your marriage eventually arrived and before you knew it you lay sprawled on the King's bed, as he stripped naked and approached. Repulsed, you stabbed him with a needle laced with a sedative drug common in Balseraph lands, and he collapsed on top of you. In the morning he was furious, and the palace guards charged you with the crime of refusal to perform womanly duties. Your arrogance has been the cause of war between Sheaim and Balseraph, which looks set to escalate over the next few months.

Charge: Refusal to perform womanly duties.
Alignment: Evil
Strength: 1 (2)

Items:

Needles: +1 strength

Goal: The Amulet that was stolen from you is the Amulet of Eveleigna, which allows you to channel the powers of Ceridwen. With it under your control you will be able to influence two other contestants to make them change their nomination to a housemate of your choice every night and on all occasions your nomination will be worth 2. You feel it close to you, and are sure that the person that stole it from you now faces the same fate at you do in this prison. They still have the Amulet.

Note: the amulet was nerfed halfway through the game, removing the doublevote effect. (Which, I must admit, along with another rule-change that I was on the wrong end of, kind of diminished my interest in the game a bit.)

Basically I had no idea what was going on at any point during the game and my character couldn't actually do anything, so I just roleplayed. I didn't kill Pinman.
