Minimap glitch

Anyone else having an issue with the minimap? It's illegible; only things I can make out are the city dots. Everything else is either black or weird-shaped, colored polygons.

Could it be just my video card?

Screenshot? Would make it much easier to see what's up (press F12 to take a screenshot).

I'm also getting problems with the minimap (among other things). Are your leader screens static? Did the red ring to show where you can place your initial city not show up? If so, you may be having the same problems I'm having. Are you also running it on a laptop with an Nvidia GPU?

I started a thread in tech support but so far I haven't been able to find any resolution to it. Here's the link.
