Mining corp only giving +3 hammers?

In the last mp game i played when i spred the mining corp i was getting +15 hammers in each city i spread it to, why in this game would i only be getting 3 and how do i improve the hammers?

Mining Corp provides +1 for each resource consumed. So you only had a total of three of the following resources: coal, copper, iron, gold or silver. As Onagan said, if you want more hammers from Mining Corp either trade for more resources or acquire the resources by settling new cities by resources/capturing resources from other players.

i have 3 iron 3 copper 2 gold 1 silver and 2 coal which is about the same as i had last time but the hammers are not increasing any further ideas anyone also for some strange reason i have no oil im my capital

Is it the same increase in at all of your cities or is it only at a single city? If it is only a single city maybe the city is not connected (with a valid trade route) to all of your resources. Also, are you trading any of those resources with the other players?

when you say a valid trade route do you mean the city has acsess to the material ie it shows as a resoure in the city menu or something else, i have 3 hammer when i spred the corp to each city i have only spread it to 2 cities atm. as it was not giving me the increse in hammer which i was expecting but the 2 cities it has been spred to were my capital and the capital of another civ i have destroyed both have acesss in the city bar to at least 2 iron 2 copper 2 coal 2 gold and 1 silver

Yes, having the material listed in the city menu means that the city has access to those resources.

I don't know what else is causing only 3 . You may want to post a save game (if you have it) and maybe someone can take a look at your game to see what is going on.

The bonus scales to map size. If you're playing a huge map you need more resources because there are more on the map.

Make sure you are not trading those resources to someone. And I'm not sure about thise but I think you only get bonus for EXTRA resources, meaning if you have 2 iron, then you only get 1 hammer bonus because the other iron is "used" by your civ.

Edit: another thing, I think you get 1 hammer per 2 extra resources.

Edit 2: Ok nm, just went to a save game and checked, have 14 resources total, and corp gives +14 hammers. 4 iron, 4 copper, 2 silver, 1 gold, 3 coal. SO yeah check that you are not trading the resources away.
