In Florida, the Seminoles expand in all directions. Great panic arises when it's people find endless water to all sides. They look to their leader, chief EQ, in the main village of Orlando to give them further directions. They have also discovered a collection of small tribes all around them. Awed by the Seminole's productive economy, they begin petty bartering with them.
The Germans realize that they'll need many soldiers to defend their little forest kingdom, and recruit another army. They both expand North, reaching a sea they name the Baltic. To the East, contact is established with a fellow Germanic tribe known as the Prussians. Back in Berlin, the German leader had hoped that a recent series of festivals would increase the German culture, but far from accomplishing anything worthy, the Germans fail to do anything except get drunk. The wise-men explain that you can't increase the army and culture at the same time.
In the vast Central European region inhabited by various tribes of Celts, two in perticular, the Gauls and Danubian Celts, establish healthy relations. Their leaders talk of possible future trade routes and such. The Danubian leader, Wolf Wolfson, sets up a system of currency in his nation. Another army is recruited and sent to battle against an Eastern menace, easily crushing it. Afterwards, Westward expansion ensues.
In Japan, the Mori emissary is treated haughtilly. He returns to the lands of the Mori clan speaking of an arrogant people, but the Mori leader is too scared to retaliate against Japan's arrogance. Back in Japan the Japanese build the world's earliest schools, teaching the children of noblemen how to read and write, developing a primitive Japanese alphabet. Japanese culture skyrockets.
In the desert lands of Arabia, the Arabs become the first people in the world to domesticate animals. Though farming is hard in the harsh Arabian soil, the camel proves to be an effective military weapon, able to tirelessly get Arabic warriors to their destinations. In Mecca, a series of bazaars is opened, increasing the Arabic economy.
In the land of the Almohads, the Morrocans under King Volum begin a series of expansions. The Moors, who had previousl been offered an ultimatum to join, refuse. Even worse, they have started to join together in a loose confederation to stop Almohad attacks. Still, the Moors are very disorganized, compared to the Almohads, who know have 2, well-functioning armies. The Almohad scouts wearily watch as convoys of warriors travel across Moorish territories. The Almohad armies, are in the South, where they have made considerable progress along the coast.
In Egypt, the Egyptians quickly expand along the nile Delta and reach the "Great Lake" they had been hearing rumors about. It's bigger than anything they had ever seen, far bigger than even all of Egypt itself. They name it the Mediterranean, and establish a farming town along it's coast called "Alexandria". The small reed boats the Egyptians had been using for transporting goods up and down the Nile are of no use in these waters, as they quickly sink whenever they go too far out. Back in Cairo, Egyptian wise-men have discovered how to make "blades", a sort of axe like weapon made out of copper that they say can be put to a great advantage. However, the recent attempt to breed horses ends disastrously. Horses at this time, are too small and fragile to be used in warfare. A few crazed thinkers however, insist that the horse has some sort of military capability that could be put to use right now... they're just not sure quite what it is (think death... think...).
In Greater Italia, the Etruscans and Romans reach a deal in which the Etruscans are annexed into the Roman empire, but with many rights and privilages. The Roman legions begin to expand both South and North along the coast, but not before establishing the city of Neapolis slightly to the South of Rome. Many roads begin to arise and the Roman economy begins to recover.
In the Fertile Crescent, a small tribe of Monotheists establishes a tiny kingdom around the city of Jerusalem. They remain relatively quiet and are a bit behind the rest of the world, but are known throughout the region for their strong economy.
In Byzantium, the Thracians discard teh Byzantine offer for an alliance, and instead ask for a mere non-agression pact. The atmosphere is icy yet still, Byzantine merchants manage to trade some luxuries inside Thracian territory. The Byzantine armies roll across the nearby terrain, gaining land in both "Macedonia" and around "Thrace", whose leaders are getting more nerveous by the season. Expasion into Anatolia is halted however, a people called the Lydians stopping all unescorted Byzantine advances.
In England, a foolish and tired English leader tries to start a gazillion things at once. He utterly fails and his people burn him at the stake. He did succeed in recruiting more men to the army and invading the small neighboring country of Wales though.
In Detroit, the Detroiters, under chief Cadillac, increase their culture, developing a type of poetry found only in their longhouses. They also attack the neighboring Huron peoples, who put up a brave fight but lose all their Michigan posessions. It appears however that they have a large number of cousins on the other side of Lake Erie.
And in Hawaii, the Hawaiians develop a type of advanced canoe that can transport them long distances relatively quickly. The army is sent to quell an uprising of Cannibals on the other island and utterly annhialates it. A second army is quickly recruited in Honolulu.
